Breathe For Me.

You may be beginning to feel overwhelmed, or as if the world is crashing down all around you. You have all of these thoughts running and racing through your mind, and you're dealing with all these feelings. You may be crying, or screaming. Possibly even giving into all the negative thoughts that are holding you down. But, you're forgetting something. You're forgetting to breathe! Of course you're breathing, you have to breathe in order to stay alive. But, you aren't really breathing. When all the pain you're battling becomes too much... Follow these steps:

  1. Seclude yourself. Go to a place where you can think clearly.

  2. Either sit or stand.

  3. Put your favorite song on repeat (optional)

  4. Close your eyes.

  5. Inhale slowly.

  6. Exhale slowly.

Inhaling:
When you take a breath in, don't just breathe in. Take in all the pain. All your stress, all your worries, doubts, anger, anxiety, depression, sadness, negativity, or whatever else you may be feeling... Breathe it in deep. Hold all of that pain there for a moment. Let it fill you up. Remember: Crying is healthy.

Exhaling:
Take everything that you just held in, all that pain, sadness, negativity.. Slowly breathing out. Pushing it ALL out and away from you. Let everything that you're feeling out, every last little part of it. When you breathe out, put your hands in front of you, palms out, pushing that air that you just released away from your body. Indicating you ridding all of the hurt. Repeat until you feel calm, and relaxed.
